ABSNC Grants Reaccreditation to the Hospice & Palliative Credentialing Center

BIRMINGHAM, AL February 28, 2017 —The Accreditation Board for Specialty Nursing Certification, Inc.  (ABSNC), announced it has granted reaccreditation to the Hospice & Palliative Credentialing Center (HPCC) for the CHPN and ACHPN certification programs.

ABSNC accreditation is a peer-reviewed mechanism that allows nursing certifying organizations to obtain program accreditation by demonstrating compliance with the highest quality standards in the industry.

“Accreditation is a highly desirable distinction for organizations that certify nurses in a specialty,” said Dottie Roberts, EdD, MSN, MACI, RN, OCNS-C®, CMSRN, ABSNC Accreditation Manager. “Applicant organizations complete a rigorous process to demonstrate maintenance of a quality certification program in meeting the ABSNC standards and earning this prestigious recognition.”
